The hotel manager is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are perfect and the roof has an amazing view of the castle and the rest of the town. Its only a 5~ minute walk into the centre. We definately reccomend.

Where to stay in Ortahisar, near Goreme, Cappadocia, Turkey

This is my favorite place to stay when I visit Cappadocia. Elaa Hotel is located in Ortahisar, a small town near Goreme; an easy short drive away. Ortahisar has wonderful sights (i.e. Ortahisar Castle and Balkan Valley and Church). The hotel is small enough that you are not crowded and just another "number" in the crowd. You are treated like a friend who has returned home. The rooms are comfortable and because they are cave rooms the temperature is steady during the heat of summer and the cold of winter. You have your own bath and shower and a good Wi-Fi. There is a small community kitchen on the second floor of the main building you can use for your meals. The room rates are reasonable.

Amazingly kind hospitality by the owner

We had a great cave hotel experience, in a nice and authentic small city. True authentic cave rooms, it really feels as if you are sleeping in a cave.
Warm welcome, lovely breakfast, cosy rooftop terras. Great location its 5min walk from city center.

100% recommended

Best hotel of the whole holiday. Super sweet hostess. Nice authentic decor of the rooms and we sat on a cozy patio. The shower was very nice. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and was well taken into account for allergies. Good location.
