Hotel with Jacuzzi in the heart of Cappadocia

The hotel is great. Rooms are huge, comfortable and very clean. The location is great, because it is in the wide part of the village, but very close to the top, where the castle, so it is easy to reach by car. They have parking at the door of the hotel. The manager, Mr. Tugrul is very friendly and helpful. Always try to keep yourself as comfortable as possible and resolve any problems or concerns you may have. It also manages activities if you ask it. This is certainly the best value hotel to stay in Cappadocia.

Room felt dated and had the most disgusting danky and rotty wardrobe. The bathroom ceiling was some strange 70s design and the shower stall had moukd with a broken shower holder. 3 chairs but only one computer desk for the tv and kettle and no other tabletop space to put anything else with no bedside tables either. Overall pretty uncomfortable stay.

Deeply Disappointed — Misled and Taken Advantage Of- scam, stay away

booked Hydra Cave Hotel for my 80-year-old mother and me, but after driving 700 miles from Istanbul, we arrived to find the hotel closed. The owner claimed there was a “problem” with our booking and moved us to his friend’s cheaper hotel instead. It was nowhere near the standard advertised — no pool, no terrace, and poor accessibility for my elderly mother.
He arranged all tours privately for cash, saying it was to “avoid taxes,” and I never received the promised refund. We paid about €600 in cash, and the balloon ride was a major letdown — barely any balloons and poor organization.
On our last day, the owner admitted there had never been any “problem” with the original hotel. I feel we were deceived and taken advantage of. Two women traveling alone — please be cautious.
I never received the refund from this booking because the owner has not confirmed that we didn’t stay and the reason. When questioned he showed me a screen shot of his e mail to the supplier asking how I should proceed with the refund
