A budget price hotel with 5 star staff

A last-minute change of plans meant a night in this hotel right in the centre of Jinja. We are so pleased that we did. The welcome from Hassan the Manager was warm and he could not do enough for us even delivering an item of clothing left behind by me to Kampala a few days later. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed including ensuite hot showers mosquito nets and fans. We chose the noisy side of the hotel so we could sit on the balcony and watch Ugandan life in all its forms as the lively huge market was opposite and open from 7am to 10pm. We could've had quiet rooms but we were thrilled we didn't. What an experience watching from the balcony! Breakfast was fruit and a delicious omelette with toast. The bed was too hard for me and as everywhere in Uganda there is no lift but small issues in an otherwise positive and enjoyable stay.

Good stay at Royal park hotel

Wow ! What a pleasant stay at Royal Park Hotel . This place is so accessible especially the amazing location near the main market . Well ,at first I thought it beeing near the market the noise would inconvenience our peace ,but I tell you what ,it's very calm and quite once you enter inside .clean rooms and absolutely excellent service .

On arrival the place seems ok but once you're in I don't even know what to say. The bathrooms are dirty (I found hair in the drainage), the food is bad (They had to buy the food and we didn't get the full meal) but to brighten it up the staff is alright. The rooms are pretty simple but the railing is dangerously low and even every time I'd walk down I felt like I would fall over. All in all, not the best hotel in Jinja not to mention the noise from the market opposite.

Very nice hotel and very clean indeed . The hotel is modernised by very having fast internet, digital satellite tv, armed security, free car parking good breakfast etc, very welcoming and friendly members of staff and its value for the money
