The room are descent for the price. The staff are very friendly and professional. The parking is good for this area.

I stayed at Al Diar Sawa Hotel Apartments in Abu Dhabi for 28 nights.
The housekeeping staff were polite and helpful, which I appreciate. However, my experience with the front desk was not satisfactory, as communication was difficult and I did not feel properly supported when I raised a concern.
During my stay, I encountered a hygiene issue, as there were insects (ticks) in the bed. I reported the issue and provided photo evidence. The hotel acknowledged the situation and mentioned it would be reviewed internally, but no proper resolution or compensation was offered.
I understand hotel policies, but this situation is related to hygiene and guest safety, not a standard request.
I tried to resolve this directly with the hotel management but did not receive a response.
Overall, I expected a more professional and responsible handling of such a situation.

A Stay That Felt More Like Surveillance Than Hospitality
I booked this hotel apartment because it offered a living room where my family could finally visit me after six years apart. This stay was meant to be meaningful, but instead it became one of the most intrusive and uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
From the beginning, it felt like we were being watched. The bellboy’s behaviour went far beyond normal attentiveness — it felt like surveillance. He monitored our movements so closely that it was impossible to relax. One of my family members was even stopped in the lift, despite it being obvious they were simply visiting me. Security is important, but what we experienced was excessive and inappropriate.
The situation became even more concerning when staff knocked on our door claiming there had been a noise complaint. This was surprising, as we were not having a party or playing loud music — just a simple conversation and some laughter between family members who hadn’t seen each other in years. Wanting to be respectful, I went next door to apologise, only to learn that the neighbours had made no complaint at all. It became clear that the “noise complaint” was being used as a pretext to check on us. This level of intrusion is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for guest privacy.
The apartment itself was also disappointing. It is outdated, the shower door doesn’t close properly which floods the bathroom every time, and the sofas were visibly unclean. Despite requesting a non‑smoking room, the entire apartment smelled strongly of smoke.
What should have been a warm, long‑awaited family reunion turned into a stressful and unpleasant stay. I genuinely hope management takes this feedback seriously — no guest should feel monitored, mistrusted, or uncomfortable in a place they are paying to stay in.
