The hotel’s location is beautiful. The property was clean and well maintained. We had delicious meal for dinner and drinks from the bar. Overall a great place to stop on your way to or from the Isle of Skye. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

First Class Service (Singh)
We were struggling to find a room and I happened to bump into Singh in the Petrol station. We got talking and he immediately said he had a free room.
We followed him back to the Hotel and he looked after us exceptionally well.
Singh is jack of all trades, he helped us book in, grabbed our cases, our drinks, and a restaurant menu.
Singh has a wonderful personality and is perfect for the hospitality industry.
He has such a happy, willing to do anything attitude. The Balmacara is lucky to have Singh as an employee.
We followed him back to the Hotel and he looked after us exceptionally well.

Exceptional Service - Jeetendra
We wish to highlight one staff member in particular, Jeetendra, who was extremely courteous and friendly with our requests, clearly striving to go above and beyond with our reservation, and made the highest impression on behalf of the Balmacara. We will never forget his hospitality, and are incredibly grateful to him!
In addition, the staff in general were very accommodating and helpful. The facilities were spotless, dinner was lovely, delivered quickly, and the waiters provided helpful recommendations. This was in addition to the beautiful view from the restaurant itself. The Balmacara is an absolute must visit, with the staff, Jeetendra especially, deserving the highest of praises in making it the exceptional stay it was.

Our family loved our stay here, that hotel was a perfect jumping off point for the Isle of Sky. Food was amazing and the staff was top notch!
