Nice food and staff bar one member of staff

Me and my husband went to the cavendish for breakfast . The room was lovely and quiet but very warm and stuffy . Mainly the staff were nice but some were in my words snobby and rude . Constantly asking us can I help you in a tone meaning what are you doing here . When we were clearly staying for food . Overall the food was absolutely delicious especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs . It was nice but a little over priced and paying £22 for a breakfast was enough in my opinion . We had a very nice time and looking out on lovely views as a treat I would recommend here .

Great food, wine and location

Beautiful location, peaceful with lovely views. Excellent food and wine in The Gallery restaurant. Service a little slow for drinks out on the terrace. Poor signage to rooms and it isn’t clear or easy how to get to some of them. Along the corridors quite a lot of towels/ bedding shoved under stair wells etc which wasn’t pretty. Not a patch aesthetic wise or attention to detail wise as somewhere like Grantley Hall but in all fairness they aren’t charging GH prices either so fair enough. Overall a very nice stay - room was comfy and pretty if a little too warm.

The Cavendish Hotel was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. From the warm, friendly staff to the beautiful 😻 surroundings. The room was very tasteful and well organised. The restaurant offered high quality food and drinks. Overall an amazing experience.

Perfect stay

Wonderful experience. My whole stay was faultless. Every member of staff is friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
The food was incredible, every meal from breakfast through to dinner (including the cakes) was delicious!
They somehow manage to strike the perfect balance between a home away from home and utter decadence.

Excellent service . Pleasant , happy ,helpful staff , nothing is too much trouble . Box supplied to bring home the cakes i didn't manage to eat .
