A Memorable Stay with Great Hospitality
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
The food was one of the highlights of my stay. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety to suit different tastes. The quality and presentation exceeded my expectations.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and outstanding food. I look forward to staying here again.

Lovely setting, good location, nice room. DEFINITELY NOT 5 STAR. I believe it used to be. It’s not now.
Staff on the whole very useless, don’t seem to know what’s what. Despite rooms being ready no check in allowed even 11 mins early. No valet yet signs for. No concierge yet signs for. Spa is very far from 5*- mould growing and smells damp.
Used tampons from previous guests in bathroom bins, rubbish in corridors, every other guest complaining.
We experienced several several issues. And only got £100 back in compensation.

Horribly bad
We stayed here in July 2026, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
This property has every opportunity to be an excellent place to stay, but under the current management, it has been allowed to deteriorate into what feels like the cheapest one-star hotel. The hotel is clearly understaffed, disorganized, and poorly managed. Check-in involved long queues, and the rooms were not ready when they should have been.
The air conditioning was broken, making the stay even more uncomfortable. The food was mediocre at best and outrageously overpriced for the quality. Breakfast was especially disappointing: the cheapest toast imaginable, watery orange juice, a laughably limited selection of cold cuts, and coffee that tasted more like hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. Even very modest three star hotels across Europe offer a far better breakfast.
The spa pool is tiny, and we were not even confident that it was properly maintained. The outdoor pool is so small that it is unsuitable for swimming.
The staff were friendly and did their best, but they were obviously overwhelmed because the hotel is so understaffed. As a guest, it gives the impression that management is focused on cutting costs and maximizing profit rather than providing a quality experience and valuing their guests.
Given the high price we paid, there is simply no justification for the poor standards across the board. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Broken Air Conditioning, Missing Belongings and No Customer Service
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel people should know about my experience.
I paid over £300 a night, and unfortunately the stay was nowhere near the standard I expected.
The air conditioning in my room didn't work, the room was unbearably hot, and the windows wouldn't open. I was told they couldn't move me to another room or even provide a fan, so I barely slept.
I had booked two rooms as I arrived a day earlier than planned. Reception assured me they would transfer all of my belongings to the new room. Before they did, I could clearly see my luggage behind reception, including my white jumpsuit hanging on a hanger. When my belongings arrived in my new room, the jumpsuit had disappeared. It has now been over 24 hours, and despite promises of a call back, I've still had no update.
There was also no telephone in the room to contact reception, so I had to use my own mobile phone. I called reception, and it rang continuously for over 15 minutes with no answer. I eventually went downstairs, only to find the receptionist standing there doing nothing. I explained I'd been calling, and was simply told, "Our phone isn't ringing, we have a problem with it." There had been no communication to guests that the phone system wasn't working.
The outdoor pool was also in a very poor condition, with missing tiles throughout, making it look neglected and unclean.
Overall, the hotel was a huge disappointment. Poor customer service, a room that was far too hot to sleep in, missing belongings that were in the hotel's care, and facilities that were not as advertised. For the amount of money I paid, I expected so much better. I certainly won't be returning.
