HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Firstly the welcome when first arrived.. being shown to your room,,,by a fantastic staff member.. cant remember her name .. but she + other staff member are a credit to this place.
The reason i picked the Bailey Hotel , this time was ,,, it was right in the centre for the venues i intended to hang out,, as i was down for Pride.. Dickson Road.. Perfect,,,location
The room i was lucky to get was on the top floor, which had a sea + tower view..also the climb to the top floor kept me fit...
The room was suberb.. comfortable bed . tea , coffee..great shower.. + most important off all .... It was spotless...

Fantastic service, great value - just one issue outside their control
We arrived a little earlier than planned and, although our room wasn’t quite ready, this wasn’t an issue at all. We were able to leave our bags securely and head out to enjoy the afternoon. Around an hour later, we received a text to let us know the room was ready. We’d already been given our keys before leaving, and when we returned, our bags had been taken up to our room for us - a small touch that made a big difference.
The staff genuinely couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. We requested a couple of extra pillows and were provided four more without hesitation. The level of customer service was superb, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a fantastic location and offered excellent value for money. The only slight disappointment was that breakfast wasn’t available. It looked as though there were plans to open a restaurant next door, although signage suggested this was due to happen in 2025 and it doesn’t appear to have materialised yet. Hopefully this is still something they are working towards.
The only issue we experienced - and something we had noticed mentioned in previous Booking.com reviews - was the smell of cannabis coming from neighbouring properties. Unfortunately, this was noticeable throughout the night, to the point that it affected our sleep. To be fair to the hotel, they made us aware that they know about the problem and are looking into ways to address it, although it’s understandably difficult when it relates to neighbouring premises. However, it’s worth bearing in mind if you’re particularly sensitive to strong smells.
Overall, we had a really positive experience. The staff were outstanding, the location was ideal, and the value for money was excellent. If the issue with the neighbouring properties can be resolved, this would be an easy five-star stay. We’d happily recommend it and hope to return in the future.

Unbelievable value for money
Just nit picking, there could do with being a separate hand towel on the bathroom.
Overall, a lovely overnights stay. Would definitely come again.
