The Dragonfly hotel

My son and I stayed at the Dragonfly. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. The owners Paul and Adam were great, nothing is to much bother. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are majoritly ensuite, comfy beds tea and coffee selection very good, biscuits also in the room and a chocolate on the bed on arrival.

Never a 4 star hotel. Avoid!

I chose this hotel ( it's a b&b definitely not a hotel) for the cost and reading previous reviews.
Firstly it's never 4 star, 1 at a push! Alarm bells should've really been ringing with the cost
The room was small, not a problem, BUT the bed wasn't made properly, hairs on it, stains on the pillow cases. I stripped the bed to check for bugs and remade it back up myself. Stains on the mattress, carpet and a torn rug underneath. You might ask why didn't I ask for another room! The carpet on the stairs going up to the room looked like it hadn't been hoovered for a while so I guessed the other rooms wouldn't have been much better.
Dust on the bathroom shelf, headboard hanging off.
Website outdated as they don't provide an evening meal on request, also no parking that's advertised in the website! Showerhead black. Enough said!

Lovely Hotel

Excellent place and the owners are lovely can’t fault and will be back. Good location clean rooms nice friendly owners. Local to all the bars and you won’t find a nice friendly hotel in Blackpool to compare to this. I will be back very very soon book direct to get the best deals.

Fabulous Stay

Just got back last night after a lovely 2 night's stay here, me and my mum had seperate rooms, my room was very nice, very comfy bed, great powerful shower, nice peacock wallpaper, the breakfast was fantastic, just £6 and you get loads!! Inc juice, coffee, yogurts, cereal, full English breakfast or you can have egg on toast for example.
The man running it was very friendly, he was name Paul, and very helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay

This is the second time we have stayed here. The hosts are so nice and accommodating. The rooms are so comfortable. It is a short walk into Blackpool Town centre so a really good location for a spot of shopping in the day and to get to the bars at night. See you again soon x
