Christmas vacation

Me along with my wife and two sons a mother-in-law sister-in-law brother-in-law two nieces two nephews stayed there for Christmas we had a blast hand my son's and I are returning this Christmas for another blast but it won't be the same my wife has pass will try and make the best of it this time

Very dirty hotel

We got there and the room stunk as if it hadnt been clean for weeks, all the sides were dusty and dirty, the bathroom was unhygienic, the carpets were dirty and hadnt been put down properly, we felt physically sick and we was only there 5 minutes, we asked for our money back and they started shouting so we took there keys, the room had a birds nest right next to the window, seriously now that room was even unfit for a dog to sleep in, I really hope somebody closes it down it should be illegal for a hotel to be that bad especially when you work and pay your hard earned money, was very diry and for anybody who reads this I strongly advise you to stay well away, I wish I hadnt of paid on my card before I got there otherwise I wouldnt of stayed 5 minutes!

Warm & Welcoming

Only stayed for 1 night in a twin room but more than worth the money.
We didn't expect to spend much time in the hotel anyway, but had a drink and a good chat with Billy, Tara and Fran - what lovely people.
Everything you need for 1 or 2 nights on the town. The room was clean, the location was great and we had a good nights sleep.

The reviews really are harsh!

We were worried about staying because of the reviews but the price made us think, why not give it a go? Price-point spot on, the rooms were adequate, I would stay here again. Obviously it isn't a 5-star experience, but it's Blackpool, what do you expect. Located great too! Staff friendly and helpful.

Copy of the letter sent to the booking agent

I have been promised a refund he has assured me that he has sent you an email to refund me. His version is the lack of a nights sleep. My version is a lot more than that, false advertising, a window with no catch which banged all night and we didn't know what it was untill we went to the bathroom in the morning to discover it was the top section of the window which had no handle, but the worst of it was when we went to check out I started to tell him about all this and he actually jumped up from behind his desk, got very very angry defensive and was that mad at he actually started spitting as he shouted! My partner was just taking the case to the car and came running back in, I told his on several occasions to calm down and this was not an appropriate way to deal with customers, I have worked in the customer service industry for 14 years and I am well aware of how to deal with people and I'm very clued up in retail law, He blamed you as a company for the misleading photos as I pointed out I booked this room and showed him the lovely pictures, the room I got was not even in those pictures I booked a double I got a twin there was no furniture or lamps or anything that resembled the ones in pictures,it was a horrible twin room, with nothing in not even sugar milk teaspoon ( which I has To go and ask for) half a toilet roll ect ect ect....but do you know what I didn't complain about that as I'd already paid and didn't want to leave and book another and start my weekend off on a bad start I also I didn't want to ruin my evening but when the whole night we was woke up to the constant banging which I had no idea what it was as this started in the early hours obviously when the wind got up. I will be reporting his behaviour to the local council and his deception of his rooms to trading standards. I also would advise you to remove him from your web site as I didn't get what I booked and paid for which in the eyes of the law is fraud.  I wish to know if he has contacted you and is the refund from your selfs of did he just lie to me..?? I would also need his full name.
