Avoid at all costs
The location was actually okay. At the bottom of the street you’ve got McDonald’s and Coral Island, so you’re right where you need to be for Blackpool — although that’s not the only place we went. From the top of the street to the bottom, I’d say it’s about a 7-minute walk.
Unfortunately, the accommodation itself was a completely different story.
When entering the property, the first impression wasn’t great. It was quite grubby and dirty and definitely needed a good clean. The walls also looked like they were well overdue a fresh coat of paint.
I checked in and paid with cash, and was then told I needed to pay a £50 damage deposit. This was annoying as when I booked online, it clearly stated that the damage deposit was only £30.
We had booked a family room and were told we were on the second floor. We had two pushchairs with us, so this wasn’t ideal, but we eventually made it upstairs after having to climb a set of stairs, go up a ramp and then climb another set of stairs.
First impressions of the room were not great at all. There was a place to hang coats, but this was literally a shop rail, along with one set of drawers. The room itself was very small, especially for a family of five. There was a double bed and a set of bunk beds, leaving very little space.
The walls had obvious water damage and were actually drooping in the corners. We even found what looked like a blood stain on the wall above one of the bunk beds.
And whoever put the wallpaper border up… I’m pretty sure my 3-year-old could have done a better job . It was incredibly wonky, peeling away from the wall and generally looked a mess.
The flooring was old laminate which was also in need of replacing. Overall, the whole room felt like it desperately needed updating.
Now, the toilet and shower… wellllll, here we go .
It was basically a cupboard that had been converted to fit a toilet, sink and shower. The toilet door consisted of skinny louvred doors, and as soon as you walked in, you were practically standing at the sink. The toilet itself was on a step, and you could actually get to the toilet without properly opening the door.
The shower was another issue. It barely worked — it was basically just a trickle — and the shower head wouldn’t stay in the holder. It kept falling down, meaning you couldn’t actually have a proper shower.
We had also requested a cot, which was provided, so I can’t fault them for that. However, the only place we could physically put it was directly in front of the bedroom door. With young children, that really didn’t feel ideal from a fire-safety point of view.
On the positive side, the beds and pillows were hard, but they were at least clean.
There were also no tea or coffee facilities in the room, as apparently you’re not allowed to eat or drink in the rooms. I personally didn’t find this ideal when travelling with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. I was told tea and coffee were available for around an hour in the morning, but there was no option for breakfast either.
The room was also ridiculously hot and far too small for five people. You genuinely couldn’t swing a cat in there.
We ended up spending most of our days out because there was simply nowhere to sit or relax comfortably. We were out of the room by around 7am each morning because we just couldn’t stay cooped up in there.
To be fair, yes, it was cheap. But I’ve paid less for accommodation elsewhere and had rooms that were considerably nicer, cleaner and more comfortable.
Overall, I definitely think this place needs a serious update and a good deep clean. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return.
One final thing — if you do stay here, make sure you remember to get your damage deposit back. Especially considering the state of some of the room and the property, it’s definitely something you’ll want to keep an eye on.

Great Location
Brilliant location yes it's abit tired but for the price how can you moan. My room had no complaints apart from the how hot it was the Manager turned off the radiator for me.. We had 4 rooms as it was weekend away with friends
