Great service. Upgraded on arrival and given a warm cookie! Very clean rooms and comfy beds. Will be back!

Stayed here for the 2nd time. Reception and checking was t great. The check in lady was not very welcoming, mumbled through most of the checkin. Had a few issues where we had to change rooms twice. Staff were a little more helpful and granted comp breakfast for 1 of the 3 mornings. Room was clean upon checkin. However turnover didn’t happen on a daily basis. This would be appreciated. All in all the stay was ok. I’d go again next year.

The room itself was nice, but if you want something more friendly I suggest looking at a smaller hotel, I didn’t find the hotel staff particularly welcoming.

Exit… oh wait
One of my biggest concerns was the layout of the hotel. The guest rooms wrap around the stadium, but there appear to be very few exit routes. Once you’re on the corridor, the only obvious way back is to walk all the way around to the lift you originally came up in. It took around 20 minutes to walk from the lift to our room, and there were no clearly accessible exits along the way.
From a guest perspective, this raised genuine health and safety concerns. In the event of an emergency such as a fire, I would not have felt safe relying on a single route back to the lifts. I mentioned this to staff, but my concerns were dismissed rather than explained, which left me feeling even less comfortable.
Overall, this didn’t feel like the standard I expect from a Hilton hotel. While it carries the Hilton name, the atmosphere felt dark and dated, more like an underground car park than a welcoming hotel.
Parking is available for £10 per night, which is reasonable, but I don’t feel the hotel itself offers good value for money given the overall experience.

Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of everything we wanted. Bit picky but staff at breakfast were very unprofessional. Greeter spoke to me without looking up from his screen. Pleasant enough though. Asked for a spoon and staff looked at each other before vaguely pointing to cutlery tray. Said nothing. just makes the difference between a good hotel and an adequate one. Poor training? Poor management? Overall stay was good.
