Lovely Christmas Eve Lunch

Visited on Christmas Eve for a family lunch. Service and food were great. Sorry about the late review.
I had the 26 oz steak medium rare. The steak came and it was perfectly cooked. The chips were cooked nicely as well. So many times wearing pub food chefs get it so wrong.
In this case it was so right. Thank you.

Avoid at all costs!

I went there on Monday night, the food was awful on top of this we waited nearly five minutes for cutlery. Would not recommend to anyone. The steak pie was dry, the chips had been clearly warmed up & they use frozen vegetables.

Tentative first meal out. We won't be back.

On entering the pub, it was a big shock. The tables were haphazardly placed with regards to social distancing. We were shown to a table that was less than 2m from one table, maybe 1.5m. The problem was that it was directly next to a second table with no gap at all. I think because there was a waist high partition, they may have thought this was a barrier. Who knows! But we were within about 30 cm from an older couple.
We pulled the table midway between this table and the one we had been further away from. So we were almost 1m from both tables. I felt very anxious about this. But not wanting to ruin our first family meal out since February, we decided to stay.
The food was good. Not fantastic, but good. Gluten free options needed to be pointed out by members of staff and were not listed on the menu. There were about 8 items on the mains we could have. With desert we were only able to have vanilla ice cream. I find it bizarre that vegan food is listed on a menu when it is a life choice. Being coeliac is a medical condition and we have no choice. Very strange.
The staff were lovely and very friendly. They didn't social distance when we ordered, but this wasn't surprising as there wasn't really enough room for them to do this. It was also noisy, so they probably couldn't hear unless we were close.
The door was open, but no windows were, for ventilation.
I'm uncertain how many people were in the restaurant, but it was full at lunch time. And it seemed a lot.
I felt we played Russian Roulette with Covid whilst being there.
I feel bad writing this because I don't want to upset the staff. However, this is a serious issue and I wouldn't want anyone more vulnerable than us to go there thinking they will be safe.

可爱的客房中有现代装饰

只住了一晚的酒吧/餐厅里吃的。 一切都恰到好处。 干净的房间最近重新装修。 唯一的缺点是淋浴间的瓷砖上的霉菌/密封剂我注意到了一些但是我敢打赌你家! 请注意他们不做早餐很可能因为他们只有三间房让。

很棒的翻新过的房间

这是一个小而精致的地方,我们偶然发现的。 房间很漂亮,干净,现代,有舒适的床。 目前还没有早餐,不会打扰到我们,因为我们不喜欢早餐Early！ 所有的员工都非常棒而且很友好。 因为我们已经成为常客,都有一个愉快的住宿。 晚餐很不错,餐厅/酒吧区域非常吸引人。 很大的户外区域,夏天应该会很棒的。
