Good stay

Ok, first of all we booked this hotel some weeks before arriving with booking.com who when asked questions later were unhelpful. Anyway I had read this establishment had closed, we were getting no reply from our messages etc, so after more digging I found a number that answered and it was open. Family room and all public areas were spotless the beds were a little bit soft for our liking but it didn't spoil our stay.

Changed hotel 3 hours before check in , shower in the room doesn't work our room had been double booked no help from the hosts only positive is the location

Warning

This hotel is again under new ownership. Be warned who you book with and pay. Booking.com advertising it and taking money when not trading now. Had to pay again for a room and put complaint into booking.com to recover money initially sent. Please check who pymt is going to before doing it.

My friend had booked this in May on Booking.com and sent details of car reg. and arrival time. However, when we got there there was a faded notice on the door with a number to ring. After many attempts to contact we eventually spoke to a chsp who said they don't use Booking.com and had no record of our booking. Asked what room we had and told him. He then rang back and said someone would be around with the key but they were in the pub...eventually a woman arrived and told us to move our car as it his her space! Gave us a key and see.ed to be aware of our reservation. No parking permit anymore she said and complained of being overworked. Stayed for 4 nights. No milk or tea bags, shower luke warm and towels not replaced or room cleaned. Beds ok. A strange place. Met some Eastern Europeans who said they lived there but never saw anyone else after the first day.
Do not book through Booking.com and this is not as advertised

This place must be on the verge of shutting down. Owned by UK coastal properties. We stayed in Bridlington at parkview on Tennyson road. I had read reviews on here the week before we were due to stay and sent me in to panic. I booked this way back in November for there nights for June 27. I think the problem started in early may with bookings not being honoured. Think we got to stay by luck. A girl who was very helpful let us in, give us keys and basically that was it. I believe they are scamming people. They had a few properties in Bridlington and lots of people we knew didn't get their digs this wk nd 27/6/25. The room we stayed in was in the eaves, so it was very warm. Small room, carpet not the best. Beds ok. It served a purpose, that was all. My advice is DON'T book anything with UK coastal holidays
