Give the staff a raise! They deserve it.
The level of professionalism at the Brighton Metropole is truly outstanding and sets a new standard for hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional.
Saba was incredible right from check-in. She immediately noticed that I required an accessible room even though it wasn’t noted in my reservation. She quickly coordinated with housekeeping to have everything prepared, saving me any unnecessary wait. Her wonderful memory also sparked a lovely conversation about Lyon from my previous stay — it’s rare to feel so genuinely remembered and valued.
Eric was equally impressive and attentive, recalling my preference for sparkling water from a past visit and ensuring it was taken care of without me even having to ask. When he ran out of cold cans, he signposted me to the bar for ice. Lily at the luggage area was an absolute delight — she handled my bags with a smile and saved me from a long queue at the front desk when my taxi was waiting outside. Her timely efficiency was a lifesaver!
I also want to give special praise to the front desk and concierge team for their consistently warm and helpful service throughout my stay. Every interaction felt personal and professional. The Living Well health spa downstairs is another highlight — a perfect place to unwind with excellent facilities and friendly spa staff who made me feel completely pampered.
Even with the hotel fully booked during the lively “FatBoy Slim On The Beach” festivities, the crowd control and overall organisation were managed flawlessly. This is hands-down one of the best-staffed hotel experiences I’ve had in recent years. Highly recommended!

Hilton Doubletree Brighton
The hotel was very clean & well presented, we encountered a few minor issues during our stay, however these issues were dealt with very well by the Guest Relations Manager Enrich, he was very helpful and listened to what we had to say.
If we had not encountered the few minor issues this would have been a five star review.

Applaud Manager, K Grigorakos for navigating professionally the issue we incurred in our room during our stay-air con in our room wasn't working properly. Every option and solution was made available to us, so that we were able to enjoy our stay. Let's say they made lemonade, out of lemons-many thanks!
That being said, Manager Grigorakos implemented the 4-Step Accountability Framework to us as loyal Hilton Diamond Members-grateful!
For those, that don't know what the 4-step Accountability Framework is when a hotel manager takes accountability for a guest's unsatisfactory experience- listen to guest, sincerely apologize without qualifiers, and immediately offer concrete compensation. Swift, empowering resolution is a cornerstone of modern hospitality.
K Grigorakos successfully turned a negative into a positive outcome for us : )
This is why we will definitely return again to this hotel.

I’ve now stayed multiple times and on each occasion the Hotel is spotlessly clean overall, we had limited staff interaction but was good when we did.
On this occasion we had a sea view and balcony and the balcony aspect was disappointing overall. Cracked tiles, metal work in need of a paint. The balcony itself was tiny and unable to have 2 chairs on it so we used very little.
Will stay at the hotel again but will not pay the premium for a balcony as we hardly used it.
