Excellent

Stayed here 23rd May, great place, good price, nice rooms, fab breakfast. Host & staff were excellent. Would stay here again.

Well worth a visit

Called in by chance whilst doing a mystery history walk around the town.
There were six of us including two children we had the pizzas and burgers.
I had the blue cheese burger it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The drinks selection was also very good and the dark fruit cider on draft went down very well on a nice warm day.
If you are passing it’s well worth calling in I will definitely go back the next time I’m in Chester.

Loved it

Took my mum and the dog as it was originally planned for my girlfriend and I to use our voucher in one of the options for our gift voucher.
Called the Saddle Inn to explain we’d now need a bigger room/separate beds and the manager Rebecca sorted everything out. Bigger room for a small upgrade fee, advised not to extend the voucher as it would cost me to do so and she’d work with us to avoid any extra cost. Comfortable clean rooms, staff welcoming and cant do enough for you. Good location, close to the centre and Rebecca helped us with parking and where to take the dog for dog friendly options for food. Will defo go back.

Fabulous location

Just stayed here three nights for the Chester races. Had the best best time. Rebecca, Katie and Adrian are super friendly and efficient. They couldn't do enough to make our time enjoyable and even organised our taxi to the airport via Don, the night manager and register taxi driver. Superb time. Ps breakfast and location are fab. Hope to visit again soon Rebecca. Thanks Patricia and Adrian

Great pub

Great beer (serving Trooper). Great food with very large portions. Particularly recommend the Hungarian themed food. The bar staff were all very friendly. Doesn't get too busy but to be fair we went on a Wednesday and a Thursday. If you look at their website it says they are no serving food but they are Wednesday to Sunday.
