Great Night's Stay in The Greyhound

Lovely night's stay in The Greyhound Hotel, peaceful end of town, great staff, with free entertainment from Builth Wells Male Voice Choir who were there following their concert in the town, will definitely be back.

High priced & inferior compared to other shows!

Visited number of shows & usually enjoyed them but not the Royal Welsh at Builth. There was very little to interest my two grandchildren for their age group, young teens. Also, no facilities for older folk to sit for a rest, particularly on such a hot day (catering marquees were obviously there for customers only). Worst of all, my 11 yr old grandson was charged £7 for a one scoop ice cream which reflected the high prices everywhere! Tickets at £39 per adult & £19 per child, we expected a better experience! Malvern 3 Counties Autumn Show is far cheaper, with lots more of interst for children (& numerous seating facilities!).

Welcoming

Warm comfortable and well appointed rooms. Lovely food and a very warm Welsh welcome. Would certainly strongly recommend staying here.

An excellent stay

My wife and I have stayed there several times and each time we have had an excellent stay. Our hosts Jane and family give us a wonderful welcome
They are so obliging and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are well appointed and the decor is lovely. The beds are so comfortable. During each stay we had an evening meal which was delicious. The menu had so many choices at reasonable prices.

Brilliant - Recommend

Stayed here for a golf break with some friends , Jane and her team are fantastic and the food brilliant , breakfast and evening meals first class.
Rooms have everything you need and great value for money.
Well done all involved it was a great base for our three day golf tournament.
