Great find and amazing staff!

I’m new to the area and stumbled across this lovely pub that just feels like home . Great pub garden and great vibes. Caitlin behind the bar has made me feel so welcome and I’m quickly become a regular! Thank you all for being so helpful and fun! It’s rare to see bar staff that genuinely love their jobs. I’ll definitely be bringing some friends along soon! Thanks again

Great place to stay with good food and drinks. Clean room and very friendly staff. Excellent cooked breakfast.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. We last minute booked the Inn and were so pleased with the incredible service, food and beautifully decorated room. I loved the radio in the room too, a nice touch! Shower was one of the best I’ve had. Roast dinner (beef) was delicious and my partner loved the burger.

Breakfast was quite disappointing, we asked for no sauce on the breakfast bun and it came with lots of sauce . My omelette was more like a fat pancake , l asked for a sausage on the side and it was chopped up and in the pancake.
We had had a nice meal the night before so we thought it out of place to complain.
We drank our lovely coffee, had a couple of bites of our food and said thank you.
There was no continental choice, just cooked breakfast.

Recommended

Very pleasant stay at this Inn which only has six very nice rooms in a converted barn. All the rooms were named after chicken breeds. We had a very what looked like a recently refurbished well appointed room on the ground floor. Quite spacious and everything worked. The two types of USB ports each side of the bed were an excellent touch. I suppose it could get a bit noisy as the pub garden and large car park were just outside but we did not experience anything. If it did get noisy ear plugs were supplied. We just stayed overnight as we had been celebrating at lunchtime.... Would definitely stay again
