I slept one night with my mother in a mixed 4-person dormitory. The check-in was very relaxed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. So did our roommates and the other guests we got to know. The room and common areas, such as bathroom, kitchen and common room were very clean and tidy. And a huge plus point is awarded for the commitment of the employees. I unfortunately forgot my jewellery on site and after a phone call, a little email contact and 3 weeks delivery time my jewellery arrived safely back home. Thank you dear team <3 :) :)

Shambles

One of the worst places I’ve ever spent the night.
Paid over £100 for a twin room for the evening. We opted to stay here thinking we would get a good nights sleep before a long journey the following day.
Our room (#5) had a light above the mirror that you couldn’t switch off. No light switch for it, meaning the room you sleep in is illuminated throughout the entire night.
To make matters worse, the plumbing to the room next door makes an extremely loud noise every time it’s in use - which was through the night.
In summary we had a night of being woken up constantly by the fact the room was in daylight and it sounded like we were sleeping in a submarine.
Very poor, would have to pay me to sleep in that room again, let alone charge £100 p/n. Insulting

A night in skye to forget

Ran into for lack of alternatives where to sleep in this hostel that while paying for a cramped room £200 for zero services, sink in the room not working and very uncomfortable beds. Dilapidated structure

Ok for a night stay

Hostel is located next to funeral parlor that we didn’t know ! Waze here but the direction is incorrect and even Google map location is wrong,
I booked 1 family room , 2 double room , 3 bunk bed for my group of 12 pax through booking. Shared kitchen , bathroom, dining and living area .

Just about adequate but needs improvements

Surprised by the lack of reviews here, maybe because there are not many alternatives in Broadford. As hostels go it's not the best and is lacking some basics. The bunk beds are comfortable, all clean and tidy and staff nice. Rooms small but just adequate, Sufficient charging points. But.... why no plugs or bowls in the washing up sinks?, very wasteful of water. 2 dishwashers is excessive as they don't get emptied meaning there was a lack bowls and spoons (basic stuff!). Needs instructions for the hob. Kitchen layout very poor, but hard to do anything about that. No drying room, essential for a hostel in Scotland. And why no communal bathroom, just sinks in rooms and toilets. I wouldn't really recommend it but not many alternatives.
