Wonderful holiday
Very sad to leave this beautiful hotel this morning, went with a coach trip for 5 days & couldn’t fault a thing ! Room was lovely & the air conditioning was a real bonus in this heatwave . The food was outstanding, all the staff were helpful , courteous & friendly. The grounds were simply beautiful, with great views overlooking the sea . Thoroughly recommend this well cared for family hotel .

Great break in a lovely setting
Great location. Lovely atmosphere. Helpful staff. Great food.
Beautiful grounds.
Would have given 5 stars but our room no 30 had a beautifully refurbished bathroom but problematic plumbing, I was told to run tap until I got hot water, and the shower was equally hit and miss!
The hotel lights outside our window were on all night, a blackout blind would have helped, also this room had no air conditioning, although the fan provided was helpful,sleeping was a problem during recent heatwave.
Otherwise clean and comfortable although not made up one day of our stay,so I had to ask for clean towels and tea bags.

Another fabulous trip to this wonderful family-owned & run hotel.
Just returned from another fabulous trip to this wonderful family-owned & run hotel.
Food, as always, was fabulous - we probably won't need to eat again for a week LOL!
All the were staff friendly and attentive (a special thank you to house keeper Niki for helping with our luggage).
The outdoor swimming pool (they have an indoor pool as well) was particularly welcome after a day spent enjoying the sunshine with a cool drink & the views over the bay towards Exmouth.
Well-appointed, spotlessly clean room with air conditioning, nice bathroom with waterfall shower over the bath and plenty of fluffy towels.
All this AND our little dog is made more than welcome with large grounds including woods, cliffs and the beach for doggie walks.
Please don't change a thing!
We're looking forward to our next visit for my birthday in August.

Prom venue
We had our Year 11 Prom at the Langstone Cliff and from the start to the finish they were so helpful. The room was laid out for us when we arrived and the buffet food provided was enjoyed by all the students.

Lovely hotel by the sea
We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. The travel to Powderham was easy and relatively quick with only a short walk to the station and then about a 15 minute walk to the concert. Breakfast was very good and service was again great. We didn’t manage to try the pool but it looked lovely. Highly recommend this lovely independent hotel.
