Lovely place
Brilliant location for Derby and Nottingham. Everything we did was in walking distance. No parking. However parking 5 quid for 24 hours 5 minutes walk away. Use Google maps. Very easy....our room 238. The windows don't open . However we got air con very mild and a big fan. The lady at the desk PAT very polite very happy lovely sense of humour. And had us checked in with in 3 minutes...couldn't fault the rooms...restaurant...or staff..everything was lovely and we plan to use it again a couple of times each year..

Stay ok, unable to contact and items potential stolen
I stayed in the hotel on the 12th August for work my 3rd stay. After I checked out at 8am on the 13th August i realised at 9am i had left a designer shirt in the wardrobe. I immediately attempted to contact the hotel however despite following the process and calling over 50 times without a response i managed to contact the customer relations team who also tried to call the hotel without success. They said they would attempt to contact the hotel manager and come back to me.
The following day i begin calling and emailing again. However without any response. After another 50 failed calls and no response to the email at 3pm i contacted customer relations again. They informed me that they had received a response from the hotel manager at 10am today to say following checks the item could not be located. The shirt being left behind is clearly my fault but this does mean one of two things when the room was cleaned after I left it was not checked and the item left for another customer to take, or it was checked and therefore found but been kept by staff.
Furthermore had the customer relations team come back to me when they received the response from the manager it would have saved me a great deal of time and effort. I do not believe that when making over 100 calls to the hotel over two days and a 14 hour period that the calls where heard or someone weas able to answer. This says to me that calls to the hotel are either advised from above or chose not to answer the telephone. I will now be escalating my complaint higher.

Great View, friendly staff and comfortable stay!
Great location and lovely view of the river (paid a little extra for the riverside view room). Pat checked us in and she was very friendly, smiley and helpful. She’s a real asset to the Premier Inn.
My youngest daughter has CMPA, a Milk allergy and she’s always been able to have the mini blueberry muffins (although a may contain) at Premier Inn which has been a godsend as she see’s her older sister have pancakes ect and would otherwise miss out. However unfortunately it appears they’ve recently changed the supplier/recipe and it now contains milk. And although they will cook eggs separately and she can have cereal with oat or soya milk there now isn’t any sweet treat breakfast option for her. Which is disappointing.

Underwhelming syay
We are regular visitors to Derby and have Stayed at this hotel many times previously with no real issues. However, we Stayed here for 1 night last weekend and the Rooms dated and in need of refurbishment, carpet and curtains badly warn and dirty, bits missing from the shower. Paid for breakfast in the morning, breakfast was cold, when my wife told staff she was fobbed off and told there was nothing they could do about it. When I went to get coffee I heard the member of staff talking to another member of staff about my wife's complaint, very unprofessional. I validated my car registration to get the discount on parking advertised on the website only to find when I went to pay I was charged full price, double that advertised on the premier inn website. Overall very poor, unless things improve drastically we will be looking for somewhere else to stay next time we visit Derby.

Room a bit dated
It’s a Premier Inn. You know what you’re getting. The staff were very friendly and helpful as always.
The rooms are a bit dated and could do with a redecoration.
There was an awful smell of cannabis in reception (from another guest) and someone left a pair of very badly smelling shoes in the lift which was unpleasant
