Chippy was an outstanding host! The property is stunning. The staff are exemplary and the food was absolutely delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and the location is perfect for visiting local landmarks.We will definitely recommend and we will most definitely stay again. Refurbished in the sixties to include ensuite baths, this stately home is a salute to the past with spacious rooms, fireplaces, high ceilings and magnificent stained gass windows. Full breakfast and parking. Very welcoming. We'll be back!

Stayed on a Saturday night, owner welcomed us as soon as we parked up. Showed us the room (3) and all the amenities. Room was excellent, photos don't do it justice. Comfy bed and well decorated and maintained. We were going to a party in a neighbouring village and the owner even offered to drop us off to save getting a taxi. Nothing was too much trouble, brought our lunch up to our room and breakfast the next day was really nice too. Would definitely stay here again, an enjoyable experience. Thanks Chippy and staff.
