Very enjoyable 2 night stay on our way down to the Isles of Scilly. Clean and comfortable room and an excellent breakfast each morning.

Great Breakfast. Great Staff. Very Clean. Comfy bed. Sea view limited, but the pictures show that. Uneven floors, but it’s a very old building. Car parking is tight, but village car park not far away.

Not just a pub, a real fishing village pub

I am princess and my bruver the king we’re lucky enough to have been taken to the cove inn recently, the crusties wanted us to experience a real village pub with real atmosphere, and that is just what happened,.
We were made so welcome by the staff and nothing was too much trouble,
even when it came to the drawing competition between King and me,
The food was really good and we had lots of it.
We enjoyed the pub singing, especially “ happy birthday “ .
Hope to visit again on our next road trip.

Meal at Cadgwith Cove Inn

Four of us had a meal and drink. My first drink was a 0% Guinness which was only 440ml not a full pint and I’ve never had that in a pub before. The table we were given was so tight to the seat that I struggled to get in plus seat height was very low to the table. There were too many tables for the size of the room. The food was ok but not sure if my haddock was local fish. The chips looked like standard frozen nothing special. Not worth the money paid. The tips were done on the card reader and minimum was 10% and that’s on the whole bill including the drinks. It was also very cold in the room.

Fabulous location 10/10 - trip spoiled by very poor food 4/10

Beautiful location and lovely atmosphere but food very disappointing. So close to the sea you are almost in it ! Great cliff walks to the left and right . Unique atmosphere on Friday night with the sea shanty singers . The food is standard ‘ commercial catering’ , not authentic fish & chips that you might expect so close to the sea and way overpriced for what it is . No fish options on the menu even . Breakfast was equally poor , no fruit or yogurt because ‘ it’s not been delivered ‘ and ‘ you can only have 1 egg because we have 14 guests and only 14 eggs ‘ . Not really on when you are paying £135 a night for B&B . We did enjoy the walking though and were blessed with sunshine .
