Fantastic dinner bed and breakfast

We had such a fantastic stay on Sunday night following a hard days cycle through the dales. We arrived to a personal welcome from Heather who is in charge of proceedings and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Equally lovely were the rest of the staff and customer service standards here are clearly very high. Rooms were lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed and offered more than expected. Evening meal was fantastic and whilst a couple of items were sold out this was solely due to how late we were arriving and how busy the place was - there was a restaurant full of happy diners which is always a good sign !!! Breakfast was amazing and a real bonus was the home made granola which is the best I’ve ever tasted. It was great value and id highly recommend dinner bed and breakfast rate which was so reasonable bearing in mind the quality of the food. We’ll be telling everyone about this place and we will be back next year.

Terrible value for money and worse customer service.

Pre booked table for Sunday dinner but when we arrived were told only meat available by the time they would get round to take our order would be pork. Menu promised us seasonal vegetables but the only vegetable on the dinner was a couple of bits of carrot. Waiter tried to defend it and manager was pretending she didnt know we were complaining. Paying £23 for a dinner and it comes very sparce of any veg after you have waited over an hour and manager is not bothered in the slightest means we will certainly not be back and would not recommend.

What a find.

What a find, not only a lovely pub in a lovely location, but the interior was spacious and very comfortable with great pine topped tables, all in all, a lovely place to be.
We popped in for an early evening meal and were met by very efficient and obliging staff, but were surprised to find a menu that was interesting with fresh seasonal ingredients.
When we received our food, it was amazing, well cooked, well presented and tasted fabulous.
The interesting thing is that the prices charged were no higher than other pubs we ate at in that area, who's offerings were lacking in imagination, very poor ingredients and very poorly cooked.

Great weekend, superb food, roaring fires, newly refurbed rooms

Just back from a great weekend at the Marton Arms, great hospitality, super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food cooked with great skill, The steak steamed pudding the best you will find, super menus and range of specials. Great beers and wines... Rooms recently refurbished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean, you then wake to a fantastic home cooked Yorkshire breakfast, fortunately superb countryside and great walks on your doorstep, to walk off the food and drink...

Welcoming charming authentic Inn

Very charming Inn with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is beautifully rurally located with many hiking opportunities in the area. Muddy boots and soggy dogs are warmly received here! We highly recommend this hotel.
