Quaint, elegant and perfectly located

Perfect location in the heart of this beautiful village yet private and secluded.
A stunning space that has been cleverly refurbished keeping its old wordly charm.

Stay away

Some of the photos posted here are either fake or misleading. I stayed for three nights and regretted very much for the booking. The place is NOT in the village, room small and so called breakfast consisted of bread and such, hot meal cost extra. No tissue and no hair conditioner)—one got the feeling of penny pinching by the owner. I paid almost 400 pounds per night for the privilege of being hosted there. What a scam.

Disappointing stay — charming if you like things impulsive and chaotic
We were met in the restaurant and then led through the back, via the kitchen and up a staircase to the rooms. An unusual start that rather set the tone.
The room itself didn't live up to the price. The air conditioning rattled like a lorry, there were coffee stains in the bed, the pillows had no pillowcases, there was rubbish left in the bins, and towels were missing.
At this price you simply expect better. The pub itself is pleasant, but nothing more than that. Sadly can't recommend staying here.

Hot weekend

A great place to stay in Wimbledon. Quiet area but very close to the buzz of the high street. Very friendly staff who made us very welcome. Hottest spring temperature on record but air conditioning was tip top. Breakfast basket and stocking of fridge was a lovely treat. Ate in restaurant and food was excellent. 20% discount for residents too Great service for the price
