This was an overnight stay in London and I knew I was not going to be using the room for much more than basic needs! It was perfect!! The welcome was lovely and warm and the check-in efficient; the room was exactly what was needed and as described. There was a fridge - a bonus - as well as drink facilities, a superb bathroom and comfortable bed.
No air-con but the fan worked well and I slept wonderfully.
It was really quiet and a perfect location , around the corner from restaurants and cafés and only an 8 minute walk to the tube.
I really can recommend this place for an excellent, basic hotel with superb links and great staff!

A very basic hotel, but you get what you pay for.
I stayed on the top floor with no lift, and the stairs become quite narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing any large luggage.
The room had a TV, kettle, mini fridge, tea/coffee, a small and loud (but very appreciated) fan, and complimentary shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom cabinet.
The 24h front desk was a big plus for me, and I also appreciated being able to check in early.
Nothing particularly stood out, but nothing disappointed me either. It was a simple stay that met my expectations for the price.

Great location for travel and tubes and bars and restaurants. As far as “cheaper” hotels go it was good. No air con and it was warm so a little uncomfortable. But not bad for the price

We stayed at this hotel as a base for attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and were very pleased with our choice. Once we got our bearings, it was easy to find from Paddington Underground Station and proved to be in a great location.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our stay. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was clean, comfortable, and excellent value for money. It had everything we needed for our short visit.
The hotel is well-maintained, and all the areas we used were spotless. One thing to be aware of is that there is no lift, and our room was on the fourth floor, so there are quite a few stairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but it's worth considering if mobility is an issue.
The location is another real plus. Hyde Park is only a short walk away, and the pleasant stroll through the park to the Royal Albert Hall made our evening even more enjoyable.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily stay here again when visiting London.

Great location, clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very small and the stairs were steep and narrow, not suitable for large people
