Good hotel location. The room was quite small and simple, but furniture was new and in good condition. The bed was large and comfortable. If you don't have overly high expectations, it’s good place to spend the night. It’s worth the money.

If you like to sleep on a fold up bed then this is the place for you!

I honestly don't know how this place remains open.
We arrived at 2.30 to be told our room wasn't ready (check in was 2).
When we finally got into it, it was not clean. The floors were filthy, the toilet had ingrained brown stains, the shower had orange staining, there was an open box on the bathroom wall with fibreglass hanging out, the old rotten windows had black mould around them and there was no hairdryer as advertised.
Now let's get onto the beds.
We booked a twin room and ended up with 1 single bed and a fold up bed near the floor that didn't even have a mattress. It was rock hard and completely inadequate for sleeping on.
I travel all over with my job and I can honestly say I've never stayed anywhere this bad, not even a Blackpool b&b!
My advice is to stay somewhere else, even in a tent!

Room not clean prior to arrival

The room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, spit marks on the mirror and soap residue everywhere.
The comforter on the bed was ripped and the window did not close properly (even when latched) so even with heating on the room was ice cold and we could hear passerby discuss. The emergency # was a deadend and we received no support. After we complain the next day, the hotel requested photo and ghosted us. They refused to reimburse us.

Not worth the money

We stayed here after a concert at Wembley as we were getting the train home the following day.
The hotel's biggest selling point is definitely its location – it's incredibly close to Paddington Station, which made travelling really convenient. The air conditioning was also excellent, especially on a warm night.
Our rooms weren't ready when we arrived, but the staff explained they were a cleaner short, which was understandable.
The rooms themselves were basic but perfectly adequate, with no real frills. Most of the room was clean, although there were some stains in the bathroom, and I probably wouldn't look too closely under or around the beds. The towels were a generous size, which was a nice touch. The beds were quite firm – I found them comfortable, although others in our group weren't as keen.
The main issue, and the reason for my lower rating, was the noise. The building itself is incredibly noisy, with constant creaks, squeaks, drips and tapping sounds throughout the night. These weren't from other guests but from the building itself, and it made it very difficult to get any sleep.
Another concern was that there didn't appear to be any staff on site after 4pm. It didn't feel particularly reassuring late at night, and when an alarm was going off at around 1am, there was nobody available to help or investigate.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the value for money. If we'd paid around £80 for the night, I would have rated it much higher as it would have felt fair for what was offered. However, we paid closer to £200, and aside from the excellent location, the overall experience simply didn't justify that price.
Overall, the location is excellent and the rooms are acceptable for a short stay, but the lack of overnight staff, the constant building noise, and the poor value for money mean I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Nice little place, a 2 minute walk from Paddington station. Helpful staff but it doesn't seem like staff are available 24/7.
