I never really do boutique hotels, but I was not only pleasantly surprised, but I can't wait to go back. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff so friendly and helpful PLUS it was in a great location with easy walking to plenty of great restaurants and shopping.

Refund not sent

I still haven’t been refunded for a breakfast that I didn’t have because we were ignored in the restaurant - I am also being ignored when I am asking about it through WhatsApp

The room was very very small (14m2) with no chair or desk. The food at the bar-restaurant was not good. I think most of the people in the lobby were from the outside, enjoying the free wifi (??). Strange. But the location was fine, close the metro.

The location worked really well for us. There are two metro lines nearby, as well as a great big shopping centre. There’s also a Lidl close by, which was very useful for getting breakfast things and snacks at a good price.
I also liked that the hotel is not right in the city centre. The area felt more local, with lots of people actually living there. In the evening, the area can feel a little rough, but we didn’t have any problems.
The hotel is modern and looks really nice. Compared to my previous stay, there had been quite a few improvements, which was nice to see.
Our room was in the basement, which actually worked well for us. It was quiet and the lack of daylight meant we could sleep longer without being woken up early. The fridge in the room was the main problem. It didn’t work properly, and although someone came to fix it once, it still wasn’t working afterwards. This was a bit annoying as some of our food and snacks went bad.
For a longer stay, I think I would have liked a bit more space to just sit and relax. There is a nice seating area already, but I would have enjoyed having a place where you could spend more time. Having coffee available throughout the day would have been a nice extra too.
One other thing to mention is that getting the £100 pre-authorisation back took quite a long time.
Overall, we had a good stay, and I was happy to see the improvements compared to my previous visit.

Hidden gem

Lovely, clean and newly done hotel near Westfield Shepherd's Bush. Lots of places to eat and well connected to Hammersmith and City line. Friendly staff.
