It works for us
We have now holidayed in Seton Sands 6 times in the last year. The most recent trip being the longest at 14 days. We have known the park since we were children & are very familar with it. What we miss most is wi-fi. Using the limited service in a common area is not of much use for security & we hope that the park begins to install fibre optic wi-fi as standard - as it has done with cable tv. Our initial accommodation was not suitable for us & we immediately spoke to reception. Within 5 minutes another caravan was provided. No fuss. Just a friendly, courteous service. We had some small, everyday issues with the caravan - all sorted within 30 mniutes of contacting reception. We received exceptional service.
We think that an accommodation area for couples etc. would be a good idea. Some of us have raised our families &, as fun as it can be watching children explore their world, sometimes the noise can be a little too much. Why place a couple right beside a chidren's playground - wouldn't that be more suitable for a family?
Our main gripe was seeing people smoking in, & on the steps, of caravans. With all the smoke going inside. We even saw a smoker throw their butts onto the grass in front of their own child. We were thinking of buying & renting a caravan but this behaviour has really put us off.
All in all we enjoyed our stay. The weather was fantastic. Issues we had were resolved professionaly. We enjoyed many coastal walks & have already booked to return in a couple of weeks.
