Alfa Travel Coach Holiday

My wife and I visited with Alfa Travel and I must say it was a very good experience-the breakfasts and dinners were good, room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and professional( even if some of the bar staff could not read the room and did not seem to know who was next to be served, just as well it was not busy!) All in all a very good experience, although the surrounding area was a bit run down

A member of staff woke me up in the night as they smelt cannabis further down the hall which seemed unnecessary. I have never smoked in my life. Then at 11 o'clock (check out time) they called at dead on 11 to say it was check out, again not necessary. Then at 11:15 a member of staff came to knock on the door to again tell me it was check out!!
Pizza, chips and a coke brought to my room cost £32.40 some how!?
Also the lines in the bar need changing; the pint I bought was completely un-drinkable.

As I would expect for a large hotel in a city. Nothing extra good, nothing extra bad. Pretty expensive though for what it is. £25 a head for breakfast is steep.

Okay - needs better standards

Central and okay - obnoxious staff (male duty manager) on welcome desk - and black mould in bathroom floor avoid room 136 broken ac. Faint Dryed blood stains on bed sheets -

Double charged for breakfast and still waiting for the refund 3 weeks later…
No hot water during our stay and still waiting for the promised refund for that too…
