Very helpful advice on booking

I've not stayed there yet, booked in for end of August, but they get 5stars all ready for helpfulness and friendly approach

Peaceful Glamping escape

Drum Farm Hideaway
Loved this glamping getaway nestled in the rolling hills around Carron Valley Reservoir. Stunning views from the wonderfully comfortable bed in the unique Highland Dome. All mod cons provided including smart TV WiFi and hot tub. The waterless composting loo is a is fab addition as is the exclusive access to an excellent shower room in a nearby neighbouring building. But stars of the show for us have to be the frequent doggy visitors (who live with the hosts in the main B&B) along with a wonderful variety of bird life. Grab your swimming costume your binoculars and a drink and relax in the hot tub as the martins, swallows and wagtails flutter by.
Jessica and her family are lovely considerate welcoming hosts - the perfect balance of being available yet giving you space.
All in all a highly recommended stay for nature lovers who enjoy a true hideaway.

We love this place

We regularly travel between Skye to Yorkshire to visit family, and have tried a few hotels and B&Bs around the halfway point but this is the absolute best.
Jessica is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. She is responsive to messages and the place is spotlessly clean. We bring our three Sprocker spaniels along and they get a great welcome and love it too.
There’s a great choice of breakfasts on the menu, just choose the night before along with the time you would like it.
10 out of 10 from us every time.

Fantastic stays

Fantastic stays here either side of our travels further north, Jessica and her family were incredibly welcoming, the facilities were great, with lots of choice for breakfast, also facilities for making evening meals. They could not have been more helpful and were really friendly too. Lovely dining room with facilities for making Hot and cold drinks massive choice of diffteas, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk was provided, no UHT stuff! and freely available. Freedom to come and go. The room was large, warm, homely and spotless, dog friendly too, really fantastic and a huge relief for us. Would definitely recommend, beautiful location, so peaceful, yet close to attractions. Thanks Jessica, hope to see you in the spring or autumn 2026, and Happy New Year.

Highland Dome

Stayed in the highland dome with a mate and our 2 wee girls, where do a start, from the moment we arrived we absolutely loved the place, Jessica has put every thought into the dome and a mean everything, actually can’t pick fault at all, Jessica and her family are very welcoming and couldn’t have asked for better hosts, we’ll 100% returning, thanks for the great memories ❤️
