A Great Solo Stay on a Tour

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach tour of Scotland. The hotel is on the outskirts of Stirling in Bannockburn, next to the Battle of Bannockburn Visitors Centre and battle ground.
Enjoyed my solo stay here. Hotel is clean and well cared for. Staff are fabulous and will do anything for you including cooking the lorne sausage for your breakfast and a can of Iron Bru from the bar.
Food is fabulous here. Well prepared and generous portions. Ate very well here during our stay. Sad to leave - until next time x

We could not fault the room for cleanliness and the staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the hotel and the food was very good.

This was the last hotel of 19 hotels, on a month's road trip. The staff, when we arrived, were fantastic, but definitely understaffed and overworked. How they managed to keep smiling and friendly, I do not know.
We had decided to treat ourselves to a "deluxe" room. It was anything but deluxe. There was only 1 comfy chair, the view was supposed to be "garden" it was not a garden, a fence with a tree or two and grassland. Our stay at a different hotel, 2 nights prior, had a bedroom double the size, with 2 comfy chairs, a bathroom again, double the size. It also had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs, overlooking a river. It was £30 cheaper than this hotel.
The reception area of this hotel, was lovely and well maintained, but walking through to the stairs, it was getting grubbier. When we got to the stairs, the carpet was filthy, frayed and coming away from it's fastenings. The walls were filthy, scraped and dented. Very badly maintained. The bedroom, was at least cleaner, but in no way can it be described as deluxe, there were not even any tissues. Definitely not worth the money we paid for it.

Fantastic Wedding Weekend

Wow what an amazing venue, we are just back home from enjoying our wedding weekend at the King Robert Hotel, what a fantastic day we had and weekend we had, all the staff at the hotel are lovely, our wedding was beautiful and the packages that they offer are out of this world, from the moment we arrived we were treated with nothing but kindness, nothing was too much trouble and I want to give a special thank you to Tricia you are a credit to all your staff at the hotel, you made our day soo beautiful and special Thank you. To Callum thank you for keeping me and all our guests hydrated, what an amazing man you are. I could go.on and on about all the staff there as they are all fantastic.
