All staff very friendly.
Breakfast very good but £17.95.
Room cleaned every day even though not requested.
Good range of beers in bar.
Smoking areas front and back of hotel.

Warm welcome

Very welcoming last minute booking.
Upgraded me so I could avoid noise.
V clean big room and piping hot bath !!

Exactly as described and what was needed

Spacious rooms, comfy bed and nice soft pillows! Glad to have the 2 fans provided as it was warm! Bar area looks lovely. Welcoming staff. Small car park was full but plenty of parking next door for a small charge.

Lovely stay at the Stroud Hotel.

I had a lovely stay, the staff were incredibly helpful, everyone I came into contact with was extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Incredible value for money considering the room size, (fantastic) location - literally a couple of steps away from the train station as well as it being perfectly in the town centre. The noise level wasn’t too bad considering it being next to the station, though you can hear people outside in the corridor should they pass through. My only issue was my room door, every time that I’d leave I struggled to lock it, but other than that, I had a wonderful time! Definitely recommend and will likely be coming here again in the future.

Lovely central hotel.

The hotel was lovely. There was a small car park. The hotal has old world charm.
The hotel is right in the centre of town. I was able to walk to the event I was attending.
The room was clean and well set up. The coffee machine was a nice touch.
I thought the trains might be a problem, but I only heard a train when I was outside the hotel.
The staff were all helpful and polite.
