Lovely self-catering cottage (The Granary)

We stayed in the lovely self catering The Granary at Wold Cottage. The place was lovely, well equipped and well kept with a great open plan space downstairs and two lovely rooms with en-suite upstairs. I think you can really get the measure of a place when things don't quite go to plan: there was a mis-communication through a third-party which could have made things difficult but Katrina dealt with this brilliantly, sorted everything out and made sure we had a brilliant stay - thank you!
We had a really lovely breakfast on our first morning, enjoyed the hot tub a great deal and also really enjoyed being able to go for runs in the lovely countryside grounds. An excellent base to explore the area too.

A hidden gem

We know the area reasonably well but didn't know about this lovely hotel until our recent interest in geology took us there (the first recorded meteorite fell in its grounds) What a lovely place, we won't stay anywhere else in future. All the rooms are superb (we stayed in Miss Davy which is particularly lovely) The gardens and walks around the farm are great and the breakfasts are very good. Katrina and Derek are lovely hosts.

A perfect holiday cottage!

We stayed in the Garden Room (our second visit).The cottage is immaculate, very well equiped and very comfortable. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden and located on the edge of a small village in the countryside but with easy access to Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and RSPB Bempon Cliffs. It has the bonus of a hot tub in a private area at the rear of the cottage. there is ample allocated parking on site.
On arrival we were met with a welcome pack of local produce, fresh eggs and a loaf baking in the bread maker. Highly recommended!

A fantastic place to stay.

Such a fantastic place to stay, Katrina and Derek were very warming and great hosts. A fantastic 5* breakfast, stayed in the Major Topham suite which was a beautiful room with great features and very nice views across the countryside/ gardens to make it even better.. Definitely will be returning! Thank you for a great weekend stay
