Very very good

Lovely hotel, room was very nice, and clean. The staff were pllite and friendly. The owners were lovely couple and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would defo stay again it gets 5 stars from us. Julie n Gordon

Lovely Surprise for a Last-Minute Stopover !

We booked last minute for a quick stopover and were pleasantly surprised. Paula warmly welcomed us upon arrival. The food, especially the lamb shank, was exceptional. Comfortable beds and a great selection of wines and beers enhanced our stay. Special thanks to Paula, Tas, Karl, Julia, and the very talented chef for their friendly service. Highly recommend and thank you Karl and everyone!

SCAM!!!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!!

I booked this hotel for valentine and a birthday treat for my wife. On 1st impression the hotel was good and the manager Paula, was very polite and helpful. However this soon change when it come to the evening meal that were advertised with the booking and the same price as as the room, I phoned the hotel twice and sent an email for more information on this, that I got no response to. My wife phone the day after to query the menu and book the table. When we sat down at the table we was given a different menu so I asked that we had the deal online booked and the meal was included, to the response of no you only booked bed and breakfast not dinner bed and breakfast so wasn't entitled to this, and we had to pay on top of the booking for the meal. To which I wasn't happy at but was told I hadn't rang and requested this option. Nowhere on their website does it offer bed and breakfast or dinner bed and breakfast, this is a SCAM TO GET PEOPLE THERE.
We approaching Karl the owner in the morning at breakfast and asked for the terms and conditions as it states on the advert and was told its a direct booking and we hadn't called and requested dinner bed and breakfast. I asked where on his website it states you have to ring up and request, although we did when booked the table. He then became very rude and aggressive and was angry when I told him it's a SCAM. And we booked direct through his website.
PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL, STAFF VERY RUDE, PUB AREA NOT CLEAN, STAFF WERE DRINKING SHOTS WELL WORKING, THE MANAGER IS A THUG THAT WILL NOT HAVE A REASONABLE CONVERSATION WITH YOU.
ALL THE LOCALS AVOID THE PUB DUE TO KARLS ATTITUDE.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM ON THERE OFFERS ON PACKAGES ROOM AND FOOD.

FALSE CLAIMS FROM PETER
This is Peter...Peter isn't a nice person. Peter is rude, argumentative and not very good at communicating. Peter lies and likes to cause trouble and hurt to others. Peter believes he knows everything and all other human beings should accept what Peter says. Peter doesn't like others to have a voice. Peter can't understand booking processes, but Peter is always correct. Don't be like Peter
This is the end of the matter for. As per our email, you are not welcome at The Blue Bell Inn whilst under our tenure.
Many of our reviews are positive, travellers are likely to see Peter as a mere aberration.

Valentine meal

We were expecting a Valentine theme like we have had there previously but felt no effort had been made. The dining room was cold and had no atmosphere.
On the other hand the staff were brilliant and the food was as usual very good. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot.

Great hotel and pub

Lovely stay here with our dog , made very welcome , even gave us a room with near door for dog. Room was spotless and Lovely decor . Had dinner , there was 6 of us and the food was beautiful and excellent service. Breakfast was really good, we all enjoyed and again excellent service, thank you .
