Transport is accessible to lake pier
Spacious room, easy to find and close to town centre and pier only walking distance. Even extreme heat, it still not too hot in side the room with fans!

Loved the guest house, its decorated beautifully, we had a separate snug area, and I found the bed to be super comfy, though it was a little too soft for hubby. Water in the fridge. Perfect location and plenty of cafes that did breakfast within walking distance. Available parking. Would definitely stop again.

Very nice stay

Don’t usually book an “unattended “ type of accommodation but this was a very good experience. Smooth checkin with-door code sent to me on the morning of the stay. Arrived very early but was met by owners who allowed us to put case in our allocated room before it was cleaned and ready. Room 5 on ground floor had no view to comment on. Just into a tiny yard. No issue with that. Room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. In and out entry as we wanted was easy with door code. Tea and coffee making facility was welcome. One small gripe although nowhere near a deal breaker was the electric shower. They’re just not powerful enough to give a good shower experience. Latimer House is in a great location. Five minutes walk to Bowness on Windermere down the hill and a 15 minute walk up the hill to Windermere itself. We would return.

Never met any staff so can’t comment on them, but property was great and the process was easy.

The guest house was in a great location. Parking isn’t great as one space can’t be utilised due to the garage and only one car looked like it could get in due to the spaces in front. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. We never seen any staff around. We got stocked up of tea and coffee but they left the dirty mugs which I would have expected clean ones. The bin was also emptied but our empty pizza boxes were left under the bin where I put them hoping they would be taken away. I also thought clean towels each day would have been nice.
