Very good accomodations, huge rooms
The hotel is situated in the city center. There is everything a traveller would need to be nearby: restaurants, stores, banks; the train station is ~10-15 min walk.
The hotel occupies third and fourth floors of a building. Not a good thing if you are a girl and have a huge suitcase. Friends helped me take it upstairs. When we were moving out, the administrator was kind enough and helped me bring the suitcase down.
Rooms are huge and clean. The furniture (two beds, bedside tables, a dining table, chairs, small refregerator, a TV...) is new and nice looking.
The bathroom is big and clean.
There was a big balcony in out room, with a view of the main sity street and mountains (further away). The street was too loud at nights sometimes, but this is kinda expectable, if you live in the center.
We were at a tour, so our tourist company was taking care of booking, but from what I understood, there are no breakfasts in the hotel. However, on the 3rd floor of a building, there is a La Pasta pizzeria. Probably the company (or the hotel) ordered breakfasts for us there. Breakfasts were huge and tasty. After spending a day in the mountains we had a dinner in this restaurant too. I had pasta, my friends had pizza and deserts - everything was good. Prices are average, not much different from other places.
Now, few not very good things about the hotel. The very first day we moved in we asked to get a battery for the clock on the wall, as it wad dead. We stayed there for4 nights - the issue was never fixed.
Also, our rooms (there were 16 people, we occupied ~10 rooms) were not cleaned and towels were not replaced over all this time. Not even after this was specifically requested at the reception. After this was addressed again, the administrator apologized and explained that the one day the cleaning lady did not show up (got sick or something), the other day there were too many guests moving in and the staff did not have enough time to clean all the rooms... Giving that there are not more that 30 rooms at the hotel and ~1/3 of them were occiped by our group, this explanation was not good enough. Well, I really hope that this was an exception and this does not happen regularly.
One more thing is that when one day our group went back from a day long hiking and, obviously, everyone went straight into the shower, there was not enough hot water. The administrator said "oh, this happens from time to time when many people use the shower at once. Just wait 10-15 minutes".
After all, the place is good. I would stay there again.

Quick stay after two days in the mountains
We came here late in the evening after two days in the mountains. The lady at the reception was not surprised by our appearance though, it seems as the likes of us are regular visitors here. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was absolutely no problem leaving our hiking backpacks after checkout, or getting a kettle to warm up some tea in the room.
The twin suit was clean an spacious with comfortable beds and a big balcony with a view of nearby mountains. Sound isolation was fine. The TV was ok, but with a limited number of channels (I don't think there are any English language ones) and mediocre signal quality. There's also a big clean bathroom, towels included.
On the nagative, the hotel was out of hot water for the whole night. We checked in at 10 p.m. or so, and had just about enough time to take a shower. The water got turned back on at only about 11 a.m. the following day.
There's a a café on the roof with some decent and cheap food which was a nice surprise for dinner as we've had no energy to explore the city at that point. We've been told at the reception that there's also an in-house pizzeria, though we haven't had a chance to try it.
Across the road there's a 24h pharmacy if you need some nighttime cold medicine, as we did after two days hiking in the snow.

For the money ok but slow to respond to problems.
Had a large apartment with separate bedroom, kitchen (cutlery & crockery supplied) fridge, no cooker but plug in small grill pan, kettle. 90% clean upon arrival. Stayed two nights.
Shower broken & balcony door wouldn't close & three requests later they eventually fixed middle of day two (but late I think) same request for cleaner as slow, nightmare to get fresh towels.

Very good new hotel
Great hotel, in the city center, easily walkable from train station. Low prices, rooms are new and clean. There is no breakfast but there is a pizzeria in the same building (they serve banosh and good pizza)
On the roof there is a place called roof(surprise!) and it's a lounge bar, made for tourists. Good cocktails. Average prices.

Clean and comfortable
A nice surprise in Rakhiv. The rooms appear to be recently renovated, are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is basic, but clean. Some rooms have showers, some tubs. Plenty of hot water. Great price. The hotel does have wi-fi, but the signal strength is pretty weak. Most people have to go to the reception area (registration) to connect. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor and on the rooftop.
