Unique place for those who love art and authenticity

A place for those who love art, Ukrainian traditional old handmade, authenticity. It is not “just a hotel” - it’s a cozy unique place with extremely friendly staff. The huts are wonderfully decorated with true authentic large and small items that go well extremely well and make it wholesome. Though the hotel is not new, it was initially stuffed with high quality equipment and furniture, so it still looks and works perfectly.
The swimming pool is heated (which is great in the mountainous area where the temperatures are often much lower at nights even on the hottest days), but it is most appropriate for children since it’s small and around 1 meter deep only.
The restaurant in place is also unique, both in terms of authentic items inside, amazing paintings, ceramics and woodwork by local artists, as well as in terms of cuisine. The menu includes several dishes with maple syrup, which is unusual option for the area. The dishes are great both in taste and in serving. Fantastic local specialty- sauce “Ruslana” served with steaks. Very good plate of local cheeses.

A gem in the middle of the Carpathians!

Very clean rooms, friendly service from staff. Had an amazing massage by the in house masseuse! We arrived late and were greated with a warm welcome. Even though the restaurant was closed they had a perekuska ( fruit/pastries) for us in our cabin. Planning to come back next year! A gem in the middle of the Carpathians!

Very clean rooms, good service, good location, kids friendly, pool, sauna, horse back riding, hiking, spa. Lots of activities in walk in distance. Food in restaurant "U Donechky" so delicious!!! 1,2 km from train station.

I love this place so much . The people that work here are friendly and will help you with whatever you need . The service is great . They knew what I needed everyday . I used to sit on the balcony , and they knew to bring me a beer and tomato juice .
The houses are so beautiful, each one has a different themes. There is so much to do in the area , climb the highest mountains in Ukraine, go to museums, the bazaars are great . Also the food at the restaurant is fantastic. I will be back

Perfect guesthouse in the middle of the carpathians

I believe this hotel is perfect for non-ukrainian speaking tourists who arrive to Vorokhta by train. First of all the location of this hotel is very good. We took a taxi from Vorokhta train station to the hotel and the ride took less than 5 minutes. Without carrying any luggage, the walk to the village center/train station only takes 10 minutes.
We were given a warm welcome by the reception staff of the hotel. Sadly we did not encounter anyone from the staff who could speak english, but with the help of google translate we were understood clearly.
We booked the Deluxe twin room with mountain view, which was quite spacious and decorated, strangely enough with Japanese vases and statues. Upon arrival we were given a jar of mineral water. Despite not being very tall, we found the beds to be rather short as our feet were constantly touching the wooden end of the bed. The internet was not working at all on the first day, but later worked fine. There is no housekeeping done for the duration of your stay.
All meals can be had in the hotel's restaurant. The food there is quite pricey but the taste was alright. The menu of the restaurant strangely was written in perfect english while no one on site could speak the language.
Overall I would definitely recommend visitors staying here. The hotel could improve though by providing english service and perhaps by offering some maps with walking routes in the area.
