Probably the best hotel in Bukhara.

A very nice place to stay in Bukhara! 5-7 minutes walk from historic heart of the city. The hotel is comfortable, safe and quiet. The rooms are clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. Good breakfast was included. Highly recommend!

warmth and caring in plenty

Very caring people run this tiny homestyle place in Bukhara. It's quite centrally located in the old town area.
The breakfast spread is good. And the staff is always willing to help with information.

Highly recommended

Located near the beating heart of the historic city and 2 steps from Chor Minor.
Young staff, always smiling and extremely helpful, was a great help to recommend and book restaurants and friendly for every request.
Bright, clean and spacious room, equipped with all amenities. Very nice breakfast room, with also a bright courtyard and a wide choice for an international breakfast. We had a great time! thank you

Would love to stay again

I had a truly pleasant stay at Makon Art Hotel. It’s a small, clean, cozy hotel with a very aesthetically appealing ambiance that makes you feel comfortable right away. The rooms were spacious and filled with natural daylight, which added to the overall relaxing experience.
Hotel location is another plus. So peaceful, quiet and near to tourist sites. Two thumbs up to staff and the services. Great value of the money.
The breakfast was another highlight—delicious and offering a great variety.
One small thing I noticed was that the water pressure for the Muslim shower was a bit low. However, it was actually the only place during my trip to Uzbekistan where I found a Muslim shower, which I really appreciated.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bukhara.

Superb staff!

Our stay here was truly exceptional. The hotel’s location near Chor Minor made it incredibly convenient, yet it still felt peaceful and tucked away. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a perfect blend of charm and modern amenities that made our stay both comfortable and memorable. The breakfast was also delightful, with a good variety to start the day right.
What truly set this place apart, however, was the remarkable attentiveness and warmth of the staff. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. A special thank you to Amir, the owner, and to the lady at the front desk whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. Their kindness and care made all the difference.
They didn’t just provide great service, they created an experience. By the end of our stay, it genuinely felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
