Great small hotel

We stayed two nights here. You could not get a better location. Right in the middle of everything you need to see and shops you need to access. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms are smallish but quite well appointed. Each has its own AC unit and a great shower. Breakfast was very busy, so I suggest going early. Plenty on offer, including toast from a toaster, not something we have seen for a while here in Central Asia. There is a rooftop area that has entertainment at times. We enjoyed staying here.

Highly recommended and top location

Brand new hotel with spacious and clean rooms equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, minibar, kettle, bathroom with complimentary toothbrush set, bottles of water always available in the room.
Sweet and savory international-style breakfast.
Very kind and super helpful staff.
Super terrace where you can have dinner or drink a beer with a view of the old town, top

Nice, centrally located hotel

We started our tour in the Darvaza hotel. A good start for us!
Pros of this hotel:
- friendly and helpful staff
- spacious and clean room
- right at the entrance of beautiful old Khiva, so super located
- rich breakfast served at the table
The hotel is fairly basic, but fully equipped. Especially the location we loved!

Great choice for visiting Khiva
Darvaza Hotel Khiva is a great choice for first time visitors to Khiva. The location is excellent, very close to the historic town of Itchan Kala, within easy walking distance.
The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Everything was well maintained and quiet, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing.
The staff is very friendly and professional, always available to provide useful information about the city and help with any inquiries. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar.
Breakfast is good and varied, with local dishes and more international options, more than adequate to start the day well.
Overall, a great value hotel, perfect for a tourist stay in Khiva.
Recommended without hesitation!
