My ideal place

I really like the place, the vibe, the people you know, good internet, central, easy to get to, safe area. In my experience, maybe the next one will go to a private room, the price is fine, but it is a little uncomfortable the noise you make with things when touching them. I suggested to improve the acoustics to avoid noise in the room and not disturb others during the night, the rest, the experience is very good

Best economy option in Caracas

One of the best hostels ever, and one of the only ones in Venezuela. Though charming owner Steve is opening another on the island of Margarita.
Palos Grandes is a super safe, upmarket residential area. You can walk around during the day and (sensibly) even at night. There are two excellent restaurants nearby - Fiori (Italian) and Casa Bistro (Venezuelan).
There’s a shared kitchen, a ping pong table and soon to be a bathing pool. The private rooms are better than many a hotel. The two Doberman type dogs provide security but are quite friendly.
Steve is an experienced travel agent who can arrange exciting excursions all over the country. You can also hire his dad Orlando to drive you around and outside Caracas.
As tourism picks up in Venezuela am sure this place will become
impossible to get into!

Excellent place

It is an excellent place, ideal to rest in a welcoming and quiet environment. It is also in a safe area, with nearby parks and shopping centers. I recommend it for those traveling alone, with friends or as a couple. Kind regards

Great experience at El Sofa

Great experience at El Sofa. Steven and his parents are fantastic hosts. The place is really cool and with super nice atmosphere. The location is perfect in a very nice area of Caracas. The common spaces are cosy and well equipped. I highly recommend

A finding

Situated in one of the best neighborhoods of the city, this place is a find. And still with such modic prices, in a city where it is not easy to find low-priced accommodation. The atmosphere is quite familiar, and the staff are attentive. I really liked it was from the living area, with TV and couch of puff type
