Everything was perfect. The receptionist helped us to call a taxi to the railway station, which was very convenient!

Hotel was located about 15-20 mins walk away from Hekou/Lao Cai border. General cleanliness was there however, the room and lift reeks of cigarettes as the hotel allowed smoking in the rooms and although I requested for a non-smoking room, there were still cigarette scents everywhere in the room. Aside from that, basic amenities were provided and check in process was very quick.

Dear guest, hello! Regarding the non-smoking room you mentioned, our hotel has taken the utmost measures to eliminate smoke odor. We have posted No Smoking signs in the rooms and elevators. However, due to varying levels of guests' awareness, we are also somewhat passive when it comes to dealing with smoke odor. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Wishing you a smooth workday and a pleasant life!

The hotel is in walkable distance (about 10-15 minutes) from the Hekou / Lao Cai foot passenger border crossing. All parts of the hotels are very clean, including corridor, room and bathroom / toilet. The beds are very good, there is enough place in the room. The commercial center of Hekou is only a few minutes walk away, there can you find food stalls, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel itself does not provide any kind of food. A taxi to the railway station Hekou North is about 25 -30 CNY and takes about 15 minutes. The hotel can order a taxi.
I can recommend this hotel.

Only a few minutes from the border. Very good location, lots of shops nearby. Apartment was clean and everything was fine. A small fridge would have been nice. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to use one in the house. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel.

The hotel did the best that they could but unfortunately there was a bug problem and whenever I turned on the lights many bugs would land on the bed because they were attracted to the surface. The hotel changed my room but the same problem was there so I had to keep the lights off which was very inconvenient. The staff was very kind and I appreciate the efforts they made.
