A Peaceful Hidden Gem in Cat Ba with Exceptional Hospitality
Everything was thoughtfully arranged, from convenient transportation options between Ha Long Bay and Hanoi to the fantastic excursions on offer. We especially loved the boat trips around the karst formations and the guided walk through Butterfly Valley.
The food was excellent, with a great breakfast each morning and delicious meal options throughout our stay. The coffee was also outstanding! The English-speaking Vietnamese staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very well looked after. A wonderful family-run establishment!
With its relaxing pool, serene atmosphere, and warm hospitality, this is truly a special place. Thank you for such a memorable stay; we would love to return someday!

A corner of paradise
The pool was very nice at the end of the day; in this absolute calm we really felt privileged.
What we loved was the food. This is an à la carte breakfast, all the dishes are very good. We also had evening meals at the hotel, and it was excellent: the best dishes we ate in Vietnam.
The service is very helpful, friendly and always available.
Many thanks to the whole team, and especially to the young woman who took care of us very well.
PS: We took the day cruise offered by the hotel (upscale version): it was great! We highly recommend!

An oasis of calm in the madness that is busy Vietnam
If you want to be in loud bars and near shops, then this is not the place for you - although Cat Ba town is only 10 minutes away by taxi.
The Yen is a perfect place to recharge your life, we were there for a week and I don’t know where the time went!

Incredible!
speaks english well and always friendly and available to find solutions. We even managed to have last minute massages. The breakfast is good and complete and the menu for lunch/dinner is very yummy. We were a group of 7 with four different reservations - not easy to handle so appreciate the patience and availability. Highly recommend ! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Best place to stay in cat ba
We decided to go to cat ba instead of Ha long bay. That was a very good decision. As we are looking for a less touristic experience of the floating islands.
We stayed at this fantastic resort. Run by Yen, she took care of everything!!! Gr8 food, and service. Room are nothing less then perfect. Giving the hideaway feel in design. With all the modern essentials.
She arranged all our taxi rides and privet boat rides. And it all comes at a reasonable price.
