We stay in cat ba 5 days in Trang Ang, and the owner was amazing !
The owner help us with everything.
We was cold on the night and he provided us another blanket.
He give us especial price for all the tour and buses .
We feel like home for 5 days in Vietnam

Highly recommend!

Nice hotel, very good price comparing to the quality. Cozy rooms with AC, if you need hot water later than it is available you just need to ask. No problems, the owner will help you to arrange cheap transport or trip. Food and bar available as well. Highly recommend!

Very good value

The staff is nice, the room is very simple with good WiFi and good seaview. But unfortunately the hot water doesn't work in our room and no AC.
But we paid 70k for a doubleroom, so couldn't complaint about anything.
The tour service is cheaper than average on the island.

We miss it already!

From the minute we got off the bus from Hanoi, we were welcomed by the friendly owner. He helped us with our bags with a warm smile and greeting. After sitting down with the owner and him showing us areas to visit and his recommendations for which beaches to visit, he showed us to our room.
The room was big with double beds, own bathroom and stunning sea view. For the price we thought this was amazing
Originally we only planned to stay in Cat Ba for 2 nights. However we fell in love with the island and the hostel! Down stairs seating allows you to meet fellow travellers and backpackers, you can sit and talk, drink etc. And the owner sits with you, socialising and getting to know you.
Nothing was too much trouble for him. You can get your laundry washed and dried for 30 000, drinks are very cheap and he offers good Ha long Bay tours at probably the cheapest on the island. We rented a bike for 70 000 off him, again super helpful with showing us how to ride it etc.
One day he even gave us some cake and another day it was fresh coconut juice! Please don't expect absolute luxury but if you want a happy, safe, stay in cat ba and wanna make friends, hit up homies hostel!!!

Great!!!

Thank you so much for the amazing day tour & great organisation so we would catch our bus to Sa Pa afterwards! Great price & friendly staff :-) We even got to take a shower before the bus, lovely! Would recommend.
