Good feel. Value for money. Good organiser. So helpful. Visit Hanoi. Stay at Advisor family Homestay. Wont regret. He organised the Ha long bay tour and the transport to airport. Unbelievable experience. Wont stay anywhere else next time. Thanks a lot.

Not good

I’ve travelled to a lot of hotels, this is a very bad hotel. The owner is lazy and careless. He took 30 minutes to appear and check us in. He lost some of my important clothes when I had my laundry done. WiFi was bad. Breakfast was mediocre.
There are much better, cheaper options in the neighborhood. Do not go here.

A great find!

Great location in the Old Quarter but set back from the road, so we had a quiet night's sleep. A genuine 'homestay' with the lovely young couple sleeping downstairs and the guest rooms upstairs. Although the bathrooms are shared, we only had to share with one other guest room. The beds were rather hard but everything was clean and otherwise comfortable. We especially appreciated the wifi, kettle, hairdryer and, of course, AC! The owner, speaking good English, was very helpful, carrying our bags up and downstairs, booking a taxi, giving us a local map and making helpful suggestions. He even stored our big bags for us for free when we went on a three day Halong Bay trip (we stayed at the homestay the nights before and after our trip.)

Great experience staying here with exceptional service

I had an incredible time staying here. The location is great towards the top of Old Town and it takes maybe 15 minutes to walk south to Ho Hoan Kiem Lake and 5 minutes to the Old Gate. To get to the Presidential Palace it takes quite a while so you could troop it out like me or get a taxi or bike. Nearby are lots of nice places to eat too such as Don Duck where I went for a quick bite on the evening I arrived.
Chien Roan the manager provided fantastic customer service helping me book trips and settle in comfortably. He also helped with my airport transfer on arrival and provided a welcome drink.
The room decor was nice and the bed was comfortable. I also had the breakfast which was eggs and baguettes with coffee. The bathroom was clean and there was also complimentary toiletries and toothbrushes.
Overall super impressed and would definitely stay again!

Relief after a longgggggg trip...

Had a really long and frustrating trip to Vietnam and was smart enough to speak with the owner of Advisor Hotel about getting a private car to pick me up from the airport. The price isn't much more than a taxi and it's not worth the hassle of doing it any other way in Vietnam. The room was nice, clean etc. for the price the hotel was good. Best part is that it's run by a lovely family who are very helpful and can sort you out with whatever you need. I was happy to be there to relax and see Hanoi for 5 nights before I began my work further south in Vietnam. Would recommend to anybody looking for a reliable cheap place to rest :)
