Avoid this place

Avoid this hotel at all costs.This hotel is horrible and filthy.The hotel rating is 3 star but it doesn't even deserve 1 star.I'm traveller and this is the worst Hotel I've ever experienced, I felt unsafe staying in the hotel room as a solo female traveler. To begin with, the check in process was chaotic and unprofessional I arrived around 2 pm, There was no one at the reception so I sat down for more than 15 minutes in the lobby until someone came and greeted me "this is for check-out?" When I informed I was checking in and handed over my passport.She just asked for my name and didn't even bother looking at the passport then proceeded to address me by the wrong name and informed me that I cancelled my booking,so turned out they didn't have my booking ready for something that I booked 2 weeks Prior! How unprofessional! It took them 1 hour to figure out my booking only for them to give me different from the one that I booked I had booked a deluxe with an outdoor view there's no window at all.So I informed the receptionist.He told me Agoda sent him this type of room and this is a deluxe, it's just that the picture are not matching ..I told him I booked a room with an outdoor view where the window and the view??he proceeded to tell me that they have a room with a view on a higher floor but that I would have to wait as it's being cleaned .So,I waited for 30 more minutes in the lobby only to be given a room with no view again the receptionist shamelessly told me the neighbour built a building next door that's why they no longer have a view Then what's the point of advertising the room as an outdoor view?? Coming to the room,it was room 506, it's the filthiest 3-star room, I've ever seen.Broken switches,covered in Mold, broken sink,bathroom stinking like sewage,stained bedsheets and spider web on the Wall.Moreover , the bathroom has a tiny window which is not sealed, this is a big safety issue!!Also, the reception is always empty which jeopardizes the safety of the establishment.it was only after I filed a complaint with Agoda after what happened that someone started being at the reception in the evening.Also,my room was never made during my 2 nights stay there but they had the audacity to go to my room to switch off the AC and lights while I was away .The Ac which I left on because the room stinks!!! Lastly, to top it all,I had a tour scheduled and there's no working phone in the room so THEY SENT MY TOUR GUIDE TO KNOCK ON MY ROOM DOOR DIRECTLY* .. Again showing unprofessionalism.As a solo female I've never felt more unsafe and uncomfortable in this hotel..I felt safer in my 2 star hotel in Iran.Pricewise, it's not worth it at All, It's My third visit in Hanoi, I guarantee you For the same price or a few bucks more, you can get a better hotel in the old quarter walking distance to the attractions.This hotel was my last stop on my Vietnam trip this year and it definitely ruined it.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE IT'S THE PLAGUE!!

Reasonable price and great service . Thank you for all..
I highly recommend to book for the tours from the hotel thats why the vehicle and the boat is very important for the Ha long bay also the Ford for lunch..
If you realy wanna catch a quality service with a reasonable price.. hotel has good connections with experiences of years..

A few days in Hanoi

We stayed in Hanoi here for a few days before going to Phu Quoc. Firstly I'd like to say thank to David and the staff for a great stay. The hotel is in a great location in the old Quarter very close to everything. We had a balcony room that was clean and functional, bathroom was spotless and the shower was warm and powerful. All in all a great stay , cheap and well worth it.

Good value for money.

This is a good hotel in a fairly good location in the center of old Hanoi. The rooms are OK, perhaps in need of a little updating. The breakfast is very good. The staff was very pleasant.
