Really Nice Hotel

Gym and super comfy bed were the absolute highlights of the hotel. The helpful staff, chocolate hour and amenities meant it was a really pleasant stay.

Lovely Hotel

This is a great hotel in a great location - walking distance from things like The Train Street. Rooms are lovely and clean and you can hear no road noise when inside despite being in a busy area. My only criticism is staff are too 'attentive'.
On one occasion we came into the hotel from a busy sight seeing day. As we moved 20 steps to the lift, we watched 4 members of staff move quickly and stand 2 foot from our side. All being very courteous and asking if we needed anything! Very nice but too much! There were other incidents like this. It is lovely to have attentive staff but it reached a point of making us feel uncomfortable.

Well located

Great city hotel. Comfortable and well located . Had a relaxing roof top pool which we enjoyed after a days sight seeing. great breakfast options , helpful staff . Would recommend for a city stay.

wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre. The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to explore Hanoi's attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The property is neat, clean, and very well maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay.
A special thank you to the front desk team for their kindness and flexibility in upgrading our room from a queen bed to a king bed upon request. This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more comfortable and was greatly appreciated.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. It is one of the best breakfast spreads we have experienced, with an incredible variety of both international and Vietnamese cuisine. The freshly prepared sushi, authentic Bánh Mì, delicious rice wraps, and even sorbet ice cream were outstanding. Every morning offered something new to enjoy, and the quality of the food was exceptional.
Another delightful touch was the daily Chocolate Hour in the evening, a signature Mövenpick experience that added a sweet surprise to our stay and was enjoyed by guests of all ages.
We would also like to sincerely thank the hotel staff for their thoughtful hospitality in preparing packed breakfast boxes for us on the mornings of our day trips to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Bình. This considerate gesture ensured that we didn't miss the excellent breakfast despite leaving early and truly reflected the team's commitment to guest satisfaction.
The staff throughout the hotel were warm, courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality, combined with the excellent food, comfortable rooms, and prime location, made our stay truly memorable.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi. We would happily stay here again on our next trip.

Why oh why

Nice hotel, good location, lovely staff, great/extensive buffet breakfast, chocolate hour!, nice pool area. But a whole star must be lost for the ridiculous bathroom set up. NO-ONE wants a window between the bathroom and the bedroom (even with a blind). No-one wants a swing door into the bathroom which cannot be locked or provide a decent level of privacy. Just because you are happy to share a bedroom with someone (a twin bedroom at that) does not mean you want them to share your bathroom goings on.
