Located near the beach, Home River Villa is in Cam An, a neighborhood in Hoi An. Home River , true homelike accommodation
We were welcomed so warmly. The amenity is run by very nice, friendly and warm family.
The room was nice, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and impeccably clean.
The room had a balcony overlooking the street but the street was not busy, not crowded so it was nice and peaceful.
The breakfast was delicious. The day before, you should order what you were going to eat the following day. There are a couple of options but all of them are great and tasty. I loved the pancakes with banana. I must write that in Home River Villa I had the tastiest, the best coffee I had tried in Vietnam. Vietnam is famous for its coffee and it is really amazing. I miss this coffee so much now, being back to my country.
But in River home Villa this coffee was the top!
The amenity has a small pool which was a good option in the morning when it was too hot to go to the beach and our daughter enjoyed so much in this pool. The pool was really really clean and they changed water constantly.
The beach is near , 5 minutes on foot and this part of the beach is great because it was not so crowded and it is very intimate, romantic and nice with some really good restaurants.
The centre is not so near but you have bikes in Home River Villa for free and it was a nice half an hour ride to the centre.
The lady , the host booked a day trip for us and they were really at our disposal for everything we needed.
I would definitely recommend this accommodation because it is excellent and real value for money.
If we come one day to Vietnam again we would go to Home River Villa for sure. I felt like I was in a cosy Villa with great and amazing hosts.

Dirty, unsafe and mismanaged
We found cockroaches, termites, lizards, and other insects in the room. There was nobody available to help us. (The owner, Ms Hoa only has a “cleaning lady” during the day, in the evening and at night there is nobody) Cockroaches even crawled on us while we were sleeping. It was disgusting.
The key lockbox on the ground floor was not secure. The box could easily be opened by anyone. Sometimes it is even unlocked like on the picture. The front doors and gate stayed open all day and night without someone guarding the property. Long-term guests also knew the access code, so we never felt our belongings were safe. Some long-term guests also left trash around the property, and children were running and screaming. Again, there was nobody there to manage the situation.
Ms. Hoa, only gave excuses and said the problems were caused by previous guests and there was no time to fix them. We do not believe this because many of the damages looked old. No accountability.
We hope this review helps other people think carefully before booking this property.

Comfortable and peacful
It's a 15min bicycle ride from hoi ans old town and the surroundings are very peacful. 5min walk to the beach!
For breakfast you could choose one item for food (we chose scrambled egg and bread. Very nice. Best bread we have eaten in Vietnam) and for drink.
Would recommend!

A beautiful room with a/c,comfy bed, clean, large, great breakfast, lovely pool and just a short walk to beach!!!
