Staff were excellent, cleaned the room well and were always nice. There is a lot of work that needs to be done with the property itself ie New Doors. The towels could do with replacing. The breakfast area isn't the best, but they could set outside as it's not been raining.Coffee wasn't the best. The breakfast could do with a few options being added.

BEWARE!

BEWARE! I booked this hotel on 7/4/26 and cancelled within an hour, with a full refund policy before 12/9/26. Unfortunately for me, they took the money out of my account even though it was pay at property which I assumed was pay when I arrive. Wrong! It has taken many emails to the reservations and accounts dept with hardly any communication with them. I had booked through Wotif.com and after "speaking" with an online chat agent, they advised me to go to the bank to deal with this issue and so I did. A cancelled card later it was resolved after nearly 3 weeks. Not a good experience at all.

To clarify, some “pay at property” reservations made through third-party platforms may still require card verification or a temporary pre-authorization in line with the booking platform’s policies and fraud prevention measures. We understand this can sometimes cause confusion, especially when expectations differ from the payment terms displayed during booking.
We are pleased to hear the matter was ultimately resolved, though we are sorry the process took longer than expected and that communication did not meet the standard we aim to provide.

Clean and basic if a little tired. Staff very friendly and super helpful. Wifi a little unreliable but again staff responsive to get us back on line.
Around 20 minutes walk into the town. Taxi back recommended after dark (around $5). Not because of crime, but possibility of wild animals!
